About Bonnie Huttenlocher Bonnie Huttenlocher is an experienced educational interventionist with more than 35 years working with diverse learners in both traditional and nontraditional educational settings. Her background includes Exceptional Student Education (ESE), middle school math and science instruction, individualized intervention, homeschool support, executive functioning support, and academic skill rebuilding for struggling learners. Bonnie’s understanding of struggling learners is shaped not only by decades in education, but also by personal experience navigating nontraditional learning pathways and educational challenges within her own life and family. Having participated in numerous IEP meetings as both an educator and a parent, Bonnie understands the educational system from multiple perspectives. She recognizes the emotional stress many families experience when a child is struggling academically, behaviorally, socially, or emotionally within traditional school environments. She homeschooled her son during his high school years due to significant school-related challenges and has firsthand experience supporting children with very different learning profiles, including an autistic son and a gifted daughter. Her work focuses on identifying underlying learning gaps, rebuilding foundational skills, supporting confidence, and helping students find personalized pathways toward academic success. Bonnie specializes in working with students who may struggle due to learning disabilities, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, school avoidance, interrupted learning, or nontraditional educational needs. These experiences created a deep belief that students who struggle in traditional school settings are often capable learners who simply need different supports, environments, and pathways in order to succeed.Mindspring Learning Pathways was created to provide families with supportive, individualized academic guidance that goes beyond traditional tutoring by focusing on the whole learner — academically, emotionally, and developmentally.

Personalized Intervention: We don't believe in one-size-fits-all. Every student begins with a diagnostic screening that pinpoints precise learning gaps, allowing us to build a roadmap tailored specifically to their neuro-diverse needs.

Integration with Family Life: We understand the juggle of modern parenting. Our schedules are designed to support families by providing a seamless safe-haven of academic support that reduces schoolwork friction.
